My husband and I have always used a travel agent. Perhaps it's because when we began travelling years ago there was no internet. You had to be a professional travel agent in order to use the special travel sites.

As internet increased access to information, we did try to do this on our own. It seemed easy at first but with the onslaught of information and our increasing knowledge of what we wanted on a trip, it became tedious. Too many sites, too much information and too many details to put together for success.

We met Stacey just as we were retiring about nine years ago, when she put together a destination wedding for a family member. I had several conversations with her in the beginning and she immediately "got us". She instinctively knew what we wanted and what we expected for our trips.

Subsequently, she has booked dozens of trips for us. She is always available by phone or email even though we live states away from her office. In each trip, she has made valuable suggestions and her input has made all our vacations special.

When my grandson had to have an emergency appendectomy when we docked in St. Maarten's, I called the emergency number. Stacey's entire family got involved and made sure that we had everything we needed. After we returned home, she filed all the travel insurance forms (ALWAYS GET THE INSURANCE!!!), and maintained communication with the company until we were fully reimbursed for our expenses.

And then came COVID-19! We had two trips planned and Stacey made sure we were reimbursed and/or got the best deal for non-reimbursable deposits. She did it all!! I just sat back and watched the money returned to my credit card.

We presently have a cruise scheduled (with fingers crossed) for October, 2021 and we are confident that if we need her to intervene, she will be there for us.
